Squad News 2010

2010 is at a slow start, only one competition at the moment, but a very good result. Taking an 11 strong squad to the Yamaguchi Goju-Kai invitational junior ku ite competition on May 9th and acheiving 7 medals. 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze. well done. As we are only still at the start of the year there will be more competitions coming up, the next on the listing is the Seitou Ryu competition on May 23rd results of that one will be added to this Squad page after the event, keep your eyes peeled.

Well as promised here's the update and right on time,at the Seitou Ryu competition today we took 10 gold and 2 silver yes you read right what an amazing day. You all make me so proud what a fantastic squad i have, well done all of you, even the teams done well and the kata teams wiping the score boards out standing. Looking forward to the next competition. here's a list of who took what,

Second part of the year and competitions are coming in fast, well done today to the squad members who entered the Ipswich competition,6 Bronze, 2 Silver, 2 Gold. A tough day but the results not bad. I'll keep you informed on the future comps as they are a bit on top of each other. below are the results of todays event, well done.

The results from the SKU open British championships were excellent, Two gold medals and everyone performed amazing, the standerd was very high in both kata and kumite. The squad members that entered, due to your performance will be entered into the English Championships in November. well done.

Well what a year, the results from the English championships was a good. The kumite is getting sharper but Kata needs some work, Harry Goldstone being the man of the day. well done everyone.
